On December 11, 2024, around 6:00 p.m, and again on the morning of December 12, 2024, DRT received complaints of odors in the community. DRT employees working at the plant also detected an odor, but based on its character, determined it was not emanating from DRT. Notwithstanding, per standard procedure any time an odor complaint is received, DRT conducted a thorough evaluation of the facility, which confirmed the plant is running normally with no fugitive odors.
