Springfield, Ga. – DRT Springfield hosted the inaugural Effingham County Chamber of Commerce “Industry Insights” tour on April 4. John Myers, plant manager at DRT Springfield, guided nearly 20 participants, including Chamber board members and local business leaders, through a tour of the plant.
“I always enjoy sharing our plant with visitors, allowing them to actually see what we do, how our facility runs and explaining what we make is used in so many everyday products,” Myers said.
Myers and other representatives from the DRT team were available to answer questions over lunch at the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority following the tour.
“We hope to host these lunches often so we can continue to educate our local business community about the great companies in our county,” said Susan Kraut, CEO of the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce. “We appreciate DRT’s immediate willingness to host our first group.”
